Facebook Page plugin

1. Grab a Facebook page's URL. For the example on the right I am using https://www.facebook.com/ucradmissions/

2. Open https://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/page-plugins/
3. Scroll down and paste the Facebook page's URL in the same field. The tabs field can take up to three parameters: timeline, messages, and events.

timeline is chosen by default.

You can also define the width and height in pixels. I used 500x350

4.  Press Get Code. Make sure that Javascript SDK is selected. click on the code blocks and it should select it for you. Copy and paste this to a custom block on your Drupal site.
Note: If you make any changes to he configuration of the plugin, all you need to copy is the code under step 2. You only need to copy the code in step 1 once.

 

Twitter Publish

1. Grab a Facebook page's URL. For the example on the right I am using https://twitter.com/UCRAdmissions

2. Open https://publish.twitter.com/#
3. Click on Embedded Timeline.
4. You can already retrieve the code at this point but if you don't like the default settings you're seeing in the preview window, click on set customization options.
5. Adjust the settings to your liking. You can see a preview on the bottom of the screen.
6. Once you're happy with the settings, click on Update and you will get an updated generated code.
7. Copy and paste this into a custom block on your Drupal site.

 

Instagram Feed by Pixlee

1. Sign up for an account for Pixlee
2. you will be asked to login your Instagram page and they will generate a code for you that you can copy and paste to a custom block on your Drupal site.
3. Unfortunately for Pixlee, they don't allow us to make customizations to the plugin like Facebook and Twitter does.
Instagram has their own api but they only allow users to embed individual posts and no longer allow embedding entire feeds.

The "Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act" commonly referred to as the "Clery Act," requires institutions of higher education receiving federal financial aid to report specified crime statistics on college campuses and to provide other safety and crime information to members of the campus community.
